As flames engulfed part of Pierce Brosnan's Malibu mansion last week, fears of a James Bond-worthy explosion were running high.

A 911 call obtained by the Daily News reveals a woman inside the house was too terrified to continue her call with dispatchers because she worried a car parked in the garage might be a ticking time bomb.

The woman, believed to be Brosnan's wife Keely Shaye Smith, is heard on the recording pleading with the operator to speed up the response.

"Come right away. There's a car in the garage. It's gonna explode!" she implores on the recording.

"I gotta go because I don't want to get blown up!" she says.

A separate 911 recording obtained by TMZ was made by Brosnan from the scene and reveals the dashing Irish actor played the role of real-life hero as someone at his residence got dangerously close to the vehicle.

"Don't go near the car!" he screams to someone in the background, possibly his wife, during the call obtained by TMZ.
About 50 firefighters responded. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

The fire at the actor's Malibu pad broke out at approximately
 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 11.

"Oh no," a voice in the background cries.

The scary fire broke out at approximately 9:48 p.m. on Feb. 11, a spokesman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department previously told The News.

About 50 firefighters responded and knocked it down by 10:27 p.m., the source said. No injuries were reported.

Brosnan and his wife, journalist Keely Shaye Smith. A woman believed to be Smith is heard on a 911 recording pleading with an operator to speed up the response.

Reporters at the scene tweeted photos of a distressed Brosnan talking to first responders outside the home.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, a fire department source said Friday.

Coincidentally, the 61-year-old Brosnan just appeared in a Super Bowl ad for Kia in which he pulls up to a snow-covered cabin that explodes
