Ajman's R Hotels acquires fifth hotel in Dubai

R HOTELS, the hospitality management division of Ajman-based R Holding, has announced the acquisition of its fifth property in the UAE.

The new 192-key HOTEL, located on the intersection of 2nd of December Streetand Al Mina Road in Jumeirah, is set to open in the second quarter of 2015, the company said in a statement.

The HOTEL will also include an all-day dining restaurant, banquet facilities, gym and swimming pool, concept spa and salon, meeting rooms, business centre, and retail space, the statement added.

Sumair Tariq, managing director of R Hotels, said: “The UAE continues to witness a strong and steady growth in the hospitality and tourism sectors. We aim to capitalise on these developments by expanding our portfolio in key locations, and bringing in reputable hospitality brands to cater to the demands of different MARKETS and segments.”



Last year, R Hotels announced its AED1.5 billion INVESTMENT plans.

Tariq added: “R Hotels is on track of its development and expansion plans. There is a robust competition in the MARKET and we see this as an opportunity for growth.”

R Hotels currently owns and manages four properties in the UAE - Ramada HOTEL and Suites Ajman, Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman, Ramada Downtown Dubai, and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Jumeirah Beach Residence.
